Quick Answer

Shards are Gamwiz reward currency. Eligible gameplay earns them from expected GGR, and higher ranks earn at higher rates: Wood 4%, Bronze 4.25%, Silver 4.5%, Gold 5%, Platinum 5.25%, Diamond 5.5%, and Royalty 6%. Whole Shards credit automatically, fractions carry forward, and Shards never expire.

Shards and XP do different jobs. Your effective XP determines your current rank; Shards are what you can spend in the Shard Shop or exchange to cash where the exchange is available. The Rewards view includes any live inactivity adjustment in that effective XP while keeping lifetime XP on record. Spending Shards does not reduce XP or rank.

01

Section 1

The gameplay formula

For eligible gameplay where a game RTP applies, we first calculate expected GGR: eligible wager × (100% − game RTP). We then apply your rank rate and divide by the €0.05 Shard reference value.

In compact form: raw Shards = expected GGR × rank rate ÷ €0.05. The calculation uses precise fractions internally; you do not need to reach a whole Shard on one bet.

  • A lower house edge creates less expected GGR and therefore fewer Shards for the same wager.

  • A higher rank rate creates more Shards from the same eligible wager and RTP.

  • Game and bet eligibility can vary. The live Rewards view is the source for whether a product currently earns Shards.

02

Section 2

Rank rates

The gameplay earning rate rises with every rank. Royalty earns 50% more gameplay Shards than Wood from the same eligible activity.

  • Wood: 4%

  • Bronze: 4.25% — 6.25% more than Wood

  • Silver: 4.5% — 12.5% more than Wood

  • Gold: 5% — 25% more than Wood

  • Platinum: 5.25% — 31.25% more than Wood

  • Diamond: 5.5% — 37.5% more than Wood

  • Royalty: 6% — 50% more than Wood

03

Section 3

A straight example at 97% RTP

At 97% RTP, €100 of eligible wager has €3 of expected GGR. Applying each rank rate and dividing by €0.05 gives the approximate Shards below.

This is an example, not a universal per-€100 promise: the exact amount changes with RTP and product eligibility.

  • Wood: 2.40 Shards

  • Bronze: 2.55 Shards

  • Silver: 2.70 Shards

  • Gold: 3.00 Shards

  • Platinum: 3.15 Shards

  • Diamond: 3.30 Shards

  • Royalty: 3.60 Shards

04

Section 4

Whole Shards and fractional carry

We credit whole Shards to your balance. Any fraction below one stays on your account and combines with later eligible activity.

Example: if one activity creates 0.40 Shard and the next creates 0.75, you receive 1 whole Shard and the remaining 0.15 carries forward.

  • Fractions are not discarded.

  • Whole Shards appear automatically when the saved total crosses the next whole number.

  • Shards never expire or decay.

05

Section 5

Higher ranks receive higher Shard drops

Rank progression can create two distinct Shard awards. The automatic rank-up drop grows at every rank. Some ranks also include a separate guaranteed rank pack and a chance chest.

These are one-time progression awards. They are separate from the ongoing gameplay earning rate.

  • Automatic rank-up drops: Bronze 37, Silver 61, Gold 97, Platinum 151, Diamond 229, Royalty 347 Shards

  • Guaranteed rank-pack Shards: Bronze 0, Silver 300, Gold 1,000, Platinum 3,000, Diamond 10,000, Royalty 25,000

  • A higher rank increases gameplay earnings and these progression drops. A fixed mission or another special source may still award the same number of Shards at every rank.

06

Section 6

What you can and cannot do with Shards

Shards can be used for eligible Shard Shop products. Where direct exchange is available, whole Shards can also be exchanged one way into real cash at €0.04 per Shard with 0x wagering. The exact wallet-currency credit is shown before confirmation.

The Shard Shop uses €0.05 per Shard as its reward-value reference, which is why Shop products can provide more value than the €0.04 direct exchange.

  • Shards cannot be wagered.

  • Shards cannot be bought with cash.

  • Eligible accounts can send whole-Shard tips through the supported tipping flow; deposit, verification, and safety checks apply.

  • Cash cannot be converted back into Shards.

  • Spending or exchanging Shards never reduces XP or rank.

07

Section 7

Shards and Roll for Cashback

If a standard or promotional Roll for Cashback wins, eligible Shards earned during that Roll's qualifying 24-hour window can be deducted, up to your current Shard balance.

A Roll purchased from the Shard Shop skips that deduction. This rule prevents the same qualifying activity from paying both a full Shard earn and a full standard cashback win without an offset.

  • The deduction applies only after a successful standard or promotional Roll.

  • It cannot deduct more Shards than you currently hold.

  • A Shard Shop Roll does not use the qualifying-window deduction.

Shards FAQs

Do higher ranks earn more Shards?

Yes. Every rank increases the eligible gameplay earning rate, from 4% at Wood to 6% at Royalty. Automatic rank-up drops also rise from 37 Shards at Bronze to 347 at Royalty.

Do Shard fractions disappear?

No. Fractions carry forward until the accumulated total reaches another whole Shard.

Do Shards expire?

No. Shards do not expire or decay.

Does spending Shards lower my rank?

No. Current rank uses the effective XP shown in Rewards. Spending or exchanging Shards does not reduce XP or rank; a separate inactivity adjustment can affect effective XP after the live grace period, while lifetime XP stays on record.

Can I exchange Shards for cash?

Where direct exchange is available, whole Shards exchange one way at €0.04 each into real cash with 0x wagering. Normal account, verification, and withdrawal controls still apply.

Can I buy, transfer, or wager Shards?

Shards cannot be purchased directly or wagered, and cash cannot be converted back into Shards. Eligible accounts can send whole-Shard tips through the supported tipping flow after deposit, verification, and safety checks; Shards cannot be traded or transferred to another player outside that flow.

Why can two €100 sessions earn different Shard amounts?

The amount depends on product eligibility, game RTP or the relevant earning basis, and your rank rate. €100 at a 97% RTP is only an example.
